Nothing compares to an Alice Starmore design.  One of the most prolific designers of classic Aran style knits, her patterns are incomparable.  Make an heirloom!

Alice Starmore: "I wanted to develop an Aran-style design based on the crisp lines of twisted stitch patterns set against the geometry of the diamond shape and contrasting textures. I have done this with Inishmore by aligning the centre diamond panel with the zigzag panels at each side so that the alternating textures of purl, moss stitch and twisted rib are harmoniously constrained within the extended geometry."
