This sport weight version is perfect with Lana Grossa’s Cashmere 16 Fine.  Yes, you can gently machine wash this yarn.  And with 350 yards on a ball, making this sweater is a cashmere blend bargain. 

***When using Lana Grossa’s Cashmere 16 Fine, you will very likely need to adjust up 2-3 needles sizes to get gauge.  We used size 7 and 5 for our samples.  The yarn has a lot of elasticity and knits to a tighter gauge than other yarns.
