Introduction to Entrelac: 2 workshop classes: $50 Entrelac (French for latticework) is the exquisite technique used to create a textured diamond pattern. While the end result resembles basket-woven strips of knitted fabric, the actual material comprises interconnected squares on two different orientations. Come in to see the shop model! Project choices are scarf or wrap. Entrelac Bag: 2 workshop classes: $50 For students who have completed Introduction to Entrelac ONLY. Take your skills to the next level by learning to use them in the round! Come in to see shop model. Magic Loop Socks and Two at a Time Socks 3 workshop classes: $75 Imagine making sox without using double pointed needles? Learn the latest innovation of making socks! Pattern Play Blanket: 4 workshop classes: $80 Everybody’s favorite blanket, a discovery workshop for knitting a sampler blanket as you learn how to manipulate your stitches into richly textured cables, twists, eyelets, astrakhan, and trellis patterns. Seamless Sweater: 4 classes: $80 Our most popular class ever… knitted in one piece from the top down. Students will make their first sweater using bulky yarn but can go on to make these great sweaters in any size, with any gauge yarn. You'll be amazed at how easy and fast it is. It provides endless variety and timeless style in pullovers and cardigans. Beginners as well as advanced knitters can make these sweaters! This is an intermediate class. Students must be adept at knitting and purling and have some basic knitting skills. Please discuss required skills and supplies with Atelier before signing up. | Atelier Yarns' Class Schedule is designed to empower knitters & crocheters with all levels of ability. Since much of the joy of these crafts is a result of the beautiful things we can make, most of our classes are project-oriented. We take you through each step of creation while teaching you new skills and techniques. We also believe learning should be fun so expect to laugh and make new friends! Prior registration is required and can be done by calling 415.771.1550. Please see below for class policies and call with any questions. Private Lessons for individuals or small groups are available.
